Steve Murray
Steve grew up on the family farm. After leaving school, he worked as an apprentice carpenter and also acquired some joinery skills. Steve gained his trade certificate in carpentry and continued to work for various building companies and contractors in Pokeno, Whangarei and Los Angeles. He returned to Auckland in 1982 and worked as a self-employed builder. Steve owned and operated a Hire-A-Hubby franchise from 2002 - 2023.
