Nigel Metge
Nigel Metge is President of NZ Chess Federation and started competitive play back in the days of Bobby Fischer!
He is currently rated ca. Elo 2000 (strong Club Player) and plays every week in Club and National tournaments.
His best result is 5th in one NZ Championship and shared first in one North Island Championship. He is qualified as National Instructor and is now nominated as Development Instructor. Nigel also coaches juniors.
