I have just completed half of my Upper-Intermediate Intensive course and would like to thank all the ladies in the office for organising everything.
The course content itself is comprehensive and well-structured. It covers everything from grammar and vocabulary to speaking and writing skills. Each lesson builds upon the previous one, creating a logical and easy-to-follow progression. And I really love the material in the student book. Also, more hours help better remember the information received.
I must begin by applauding our remarkable teacher, Kirsty Cantley. She is nothing short of fabulous! She has a natural passion for teaching and her dedication to her students' success shine through every aspect of this course. Kirsty has a gift for making even the most complex English grammar rules seem simple and understandable. She fosters a warm and inclusive learning environment that makes students feel comfortable expressing themselves, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Kirsty has a unique approach to teaching which helps me a lot in real life. Only thanks to her preparation for each lesson, her true interest in making us confident in English, let me communicate with people easily.
I’ve been studying English at Selwyn Community Education for 3 years now and plan to continue. The level of English that I have achieved at Selwyn allowed me to turn my hobby into a profession, allowed me to have a social life. Studying at Selwin has made a remarkable difference in my language proficiency, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from the best education centre.

I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback on Kirsty's teaching. Kirsty is an exceptional teacher, she always shows a high level of passion and patience in her teaching, which has greatly contributed to my learning experience. Her willingness to share insights into Kiwi culture during our lessons, adds an extra layer of engagement and cultural enrichment to her classes. That's very helpful to me , a new immigrant.
