Tai Chi is meditation in motion. Come and learn a series of slow, continuous movements that will promote physical and mental well being, and improve your coordination and balance.
For total beginners and those with a little experience: Tai Chi Beginners - Levels 1, 2 & 3.
The beginner levels of Tai Chi teach you to find your correct postural position. It includes movements that foster the flow of chi (energy) in your body. Students practise at the beginner levels 1 through to 3 for at least a year (and often several years) before moving to the intermediate level. Bruno will invite you to register for a higher level course when it is appropriate. Day classes are available on Mondays at 10.00am at St Mark's Church, Remuera, and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm at Selwyn College.
For those ready to progress beyond Beginner Level 3: Tai Chi Intermediate - Levels 1 & 2.
The Intermediate course is suitable for students who have completed the Tai Chi Beginners Level 3 course and have received a passing grade. Please only register for this course at Bruno's invitation.
In this course you will be introduced to some Tai Chi weapons, learn new Qigong forms and review the Tai Chi forms already learned. Tai Chi Intermediate - Levels 1 & 2 is held on Mondays at 11.30am at St Mark's Church, Remuera and on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 6.00pm.
Please contact our office if you are new to our programme and wish to speak directly with the tutor.
