An introduction to the key concepts of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) from an organic perspective (without purchasing advertising). Course fee $60 - $142.
This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizen and permanent migrant adults, their partners on work visas or visitor visas, and refugees. To qualify, registrants should be over the age of 16 years and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. You must also provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status. A condition of accepting a course fee subsidy is that you commit to at least 80% attendance of your course.
This is a beginner level course to expose learners to the basic concepts of SEO for small businesses.

Those running or considering setting up a small business website. Those with understanding of browsers, Microsoft applications, navigation menus and toolbars will gain more from the course.
Basic understanding of computers and general Microsoft applications, and the use of navigation menus and toolbars is recommended. Experience with an internet browser would also be of benefit.
