I received my PhD in Ancient History from the University of Auckland in 2017, specialising in ancient Egypt. My thesis was focussed on ancient Egyptian literature, particularly those from the Graeco-Roman periods, where I looked at how ancient Egyptians constructed their narratives to be enjoyed by the audience. I am passionate about all aspects of ancient Egypt and how they can be relatable to our lives today.
