    A personal message from Eda

Ko Pupuke te wai tuatahi i kaukau au.
Kua ruia taku kākano i te whenua o Tāmaki, nō te mana whenua Ngāti Whatua, nō reira tipua ai.
E tau ana tōku waka, ko Rererangi Marehia, ki Tāmaki Herenga Waka.
I tūātia au e tōku iwi Haina ko Te Tamaiti o Tuarangi. Anei ko Eda Tang.

It's my honour to lead the new rōpū waiata at Selwyn Community Education to help provide an access point into te reo Māori and tirohanga Māori. I am on my own reo Māori journey and I share the responsibility of all kaiako to pass down the mātauranga that waiata carry.
