Mark has been exploring and teaching voice work for over three decades in Scotland, England and Aotearoa. He was first trained by Dr Nadine George who was a student of the pioneering voice teacher Roy Hart. Mark uses core principles and exercises to help people find their own unique vocal potential by linking qualities of breath to singing and speaking. He has shared his knowledge with a wide range of people, ranging from work with young performers through to community projects, and coaching teachers and other professionals. Mark enjoys helping people discover how voice work is a great way for boosting confidence, expanding expressive range and flexibility, improving public speaking and presentation abilities, and making communication more effective in all kinds of contexts. You will find this course especially valuable if you use your voice in a work context, needing to command a room when delivering presentations or leading teams.
