Anyone interested in flowers or wanting to enter into the world of botanical art or just wanting to learn these two very different techniques. Anyone interested in scientific illustration work
I am an award winning natural history illustrator of children’s books and a keen botanical artist. Part of being a botanical artist is learning how to record flower parts accurately. Correct colour pencil work and pen and ink stipple are good techniques to start off with – the latter also being used predominately for scientific illustration.
