Explore and experiment with the luminous painting medium of watercolour. Learn to paint with washes and gradients, ‘wet on wet’, ‘wet on dry’ and dry brush techniques to achieve a range of mark-making, and to build layers of colour. The workshop will focus on pattern and abstraction, the use of line, colour, texture and form to create dynamic compositions. This will include technical demonstrations and one to one feedback and guidance.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners to watercolour painting and those who wish to experiment and work further with the medium.
