Description
Take your drawing skills to another level. In this course you will learn different techniques to create artwork filled with light, volume, and detail by observing and drawing both botanical and still life items. You will learn how to connect your eye to your drawing hand and be precise when analysing what you see using pencil, charcoal and ink.
Expected learning outcomes
- Learn to apply light and shadow to add extra volume to your drawing.
- Discover ways to identify the geometric shapes of different plants and flowers so they are easier to draw.
- Create realistic drawings of your subjects from observation and photographs.
- Capture the shapes, and textures of the world around you using pen, ink and charcoal.
- Gain solid perceptual skills and hand-eye coordination.
