Crochet is a hand craft where yarn (or similar materials) are constructed into a fabric using a hook. The craft is seen in some form throughout history and as early the 16th century, however there is currently no clear evidence of how it started. Crochet has become more popular over the years and is one of the easiest crafts to pick up with only needing a hook, a skein of yarn and a pair of scissors to start. Get face to face, hands on instruction over four weeks building your skills from absolute beginner to confident crocheter!
This course is perfect for those who have never picked up a crochet hook or for those who have just started.
Your instructor, Amber, has been crocheting for 28 years and is a certified instructor with the Craft Yarn Council and American Crochet Association. Amber teaches the US terminology of crochet, however she will also provide information on the UK terminology, explain the differences and how to interpret patterns accordingly.
Just a pen in case you wish to take notes. All materials are supplied within your course fee (value $55).
