Partners not essential to try out the social dancing of Scotland that offers fun, fitness and friendship.
Enjoy the lively music as you learn the steps and common formations that form the basis of traditional Scottish set dances. Join us for a sociable cup of tea at the end of the evening.
This is a basic introductory course and there is opportunity to continue learning in a club situation.
Suitable for teenagers up, this reasonably energetic dancing is recommended for exercising both body and mind. Mixing and mingling to form sets adds a social aspect. Both dance couples and single dancers are welcomed.
Bring soft shoes - ballet or jazz shoes are ideal but any soft shoes that stay firmly on the feet will be suitable. Wear cool, comfortable clothing for easy movement. Bring your sense of humour.
