- The Civil War: America’s Unfinished Revolution
- The American Hegemony in the Globalized World Order
Expected learning outcomes
- Identify key themes of American history still relevant to today
- Learn how to link past and present through studying historical processes and patterns
- Compare and contrast the U.S. history with New Zealand history.
- Understand the complex nature of historical inquiries of past (i.e. things are not always what they seem!)
