Each course runs over eight week. Each course has classes on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays 6 - 7 PM. The total course duration is 24 hours.
Improve your conversation skills for life and work in New Zealand. Suitable for students with Intermediate English level. The course has a focus on speaking and listening.
Maximum class size 14 students. Average size is 10 students.
This course offers a course fee subsidy through funding from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) for NZ citizens, migrants with residency class visas, and refugees. In some cases, spouses of these people may also qualify for a subsidy. Please enquire at the office.
Conditions: the learner must be aged 16 years or older and not currently enrolled in a secondary school. You must commit to attending at least 80% of your course. If you are unable to meet these conditions, please contact the office to discuss your situation.
We need to collect extra information such as age, ethnicity, educational achievement and gender for statistical purposes. You must also provide evidence of NZ citizenship, residency or refugee status.
Qualifying learners: Free: the course fee is fully subsidised by the TEC. Conditions apply.
Others: $220. If you are awarded a residency visa while you are studying with us, please let us know. You may qualify for a fee rebate on your current course
