Description
Participants in this workshop will experience colour analysis and learn their Type / Season in a group setting. Hair style and colour advice is included with one to two visuals of recommended styles for each participant. We will also learn about makeup application: choosing the right colours for each person and how to apply them to create a natural day makeup. A makeup chart is provided and a laminated image of your colours for clothing and makeup shopping. You will also go home with your own lipstick to match your skin type.
Expected learning outcomes
- You'll learn your colour Type and Season.
- You'll learn about your personal best colours.
- You'll learn how to wear colours and how to shop for them.
- You'll learn how to plan a capsule wardrobe with colour.
Course content
- Trudy will assess the different seasonal/tonal types of each participant as a group activity. Everyone will watch the analysis of other participants and see the difference of right versus wrong colours, learning from this.
- Each participant will apply light makeup (colour pencil blush and lipstick) guided by Trudy.
- Each participant receives a printout of their type and a lipstick or gloss to suit.
Please note this workshop does not include a full personal colour analysis session for each person (which would normally take 90 - 120 minutes per person).
Who should attend?
Women from age 16 upwards.
What to bring
Pen and paper and one item of clothing in a colour you're not sure of. Bring your lunch. We'll provide tea and coffee for breaks.
