From France: Vichyssoise – The Classic French Leek and Potato Soup plus French Onion Soup
Learn to make vichyssoise, the creamy French soup traditionally served cold. We’ll walk you through the process of making this delicate and velvety soup using leeks, potatoes, cream, and a touch of seasoning, perfect for warm weather or as a sophisticated appetiser. You will also learn to make traditional Gougeres and French Onion soup.
Gazpacho – Spanish Chilled Tomato Soup and Roast Pumpkin Soup
Explore the vibrant flavours of Spain with gazpacho, a refreshing chilled soup made with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and a hint of garlic. You’ll learn how to balance the flavours and textures, creating a vibrant, healthy soup ideal for summer dining as well as how to create a rich, velvety pumpkin soup, perfect for colder months. You’ll learn how to blend seasonal spices and ingredients to bring out the natural sweetness of the pumpkin, finishing with a smooth and comforting bowl of goodness.
