We know we need to do more to make our world ‘more sustainable’. But what does that actually mean? Where should we focus? And how can we be sure that what we’re doing really makes a difference? Come and identify your goals and learn simple steps to implement them.
Please note there is NO refund or transfer if you cancel less than 5 working days in advance of a class starting. Our refund policy can be read in full here.
Join us for this practical workshop to learn about sustainability – what it is (and isn’t) and the concepts involved. Put together a simple plan for yourself and/or a small business that prioritises the areas and activities where you’ll have most sustainable impact. Share ideas, decide what you’ll do, set goals and targets and enlist support to turn your plan into action.
Individuals and small business owners who want to understand sustainability better and develop a practical plan to become more sustainable.
Your lunch. We'll supply tea and coffee. Bring either pen and paper or your laptop to record your plan.
Kate Thompson has eight years’ experience in environmental and social sustainability. As Head of Communications for a large trans-Tasman sustainability consultancy, she communicated complex sustainability concepts and helped clients in many industries explain their sustainability plans and progress.
