Ikue Wakashima

I have a Kiwi husband and two sons. 

 

In 2019 I ran a Japanese conversation class for beginners and was a personal tutor for intermediate level students to give people the opportunity to learn Japanese before the Rugby World Cup and Tokyo Olympics. Then lockdown started so this was my opportunity to contribute the material I had  prepared to teach Japanese to a new groups of people. Currently  I put most of my time into my role as a Japanese Community Connector.
