Adobe Illustrator is vector-based graphic design software that is fun to use and easy to learn. It integrates seamlessly with the other Adobe Creative Suite programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign.
This beginner-level course is designed for those who have no experience of Illustrator and is an introduction to this powerful software. You'll explore the main features of Illustrator, used for creating logos, letterheads, business cards etc and will work on some simple projects during the class.
This course is held in a college PC computer suite with Adobe Cloud 19 (most recent update to 2022 version). Don't bring your own device unless you already have your own personal access to Adobe via your device.
Class size limited to 10 students.
This course suits those with strong computer skills, new to Adobe Illustrator.
For evening courses, you will need to practise between classes so should have access to Illustrator software at your home or workplace. Visit www.adobe.com to find out more information about the software. Adobe may offer a free trial of their software. As each lesson builds upon knowledge and skills gained in the previous session, it may be difficult to catch up if you miss classes. Therefore only enrol at a time when you are confident you can attend all six classes.
