Discover Greek locations steeped in history and mythology as we travel (metaphorically!) around the Greek mainland and islands, discovering the events that shaped a great civilization. We will admire the ruins of impressive temples, the art that remains, and cover the culture that still influences Western ideology today.
Session 1: Crete and the Greek Islands
We will cover Minoan civilization, the palace at Knossos, and
the beginning of Greek language and culture as we know it.
Session 2: Athens (part 1)

influenced Western culture, religions, and beliefs. We will
look at the important historical locations in Athens and their
influence.
Session 3: Athens (part 2)
Continuing on from session 2, we will discover the art, drama,
important people, and religion of Athens in the Classical
period.
Session 4: Beyond Athens
In this session we will be covering the mythology, history, and
importance of other parts of Greece: Delphi, Mycenae,
