Imam Bayildi translates as 'the Iman fainted'. It is Vinay's current favourite dish made with aubergine, potato, onion, tomato and a host of deliciously rich and warm spices. With it, you'll make a traditional yoghurt dish (cacik), which is the perfect accompaniment. All ingredients are provided and your course fee includes an ingredients charge of $18.
Bring your curiosity about why the Imam fainted. A tea towel and a container in case there are leftovers.
