    Join Masterchef NZ 2013 winner Aaron Brunet to make and taste delicious plant-based meals. Suitable for those on vegan diets.

    You don’t have to be vegan or savvy in the kitchen to join this workshop, you just need to be enthusiastic to learn and ready to have fun. I’ll show you how to create dishes that will expand your culinary universe and make plant-based meals something you and your family look forward to! Your course fee includes all ingredients for the day.

    What you can expect?

    • a relaxed learning environment and conversational style
    • quality ingredients and new cooking techniques
    • exciting new recipes to wow your family and friends
    • food tastings all through the day, no need to bring lunch
    • mainly everyday meals with a few special occasion dishes
    • introduction to plant-based nutrition
    • printed recipes to take home 

    The format

    • 10am - 4pm
    • we'll cover 7-8 recipes
    • a mixture of students 'paired up' cooking, with demonstrations and 'gather rounds' to highlight specific details and techniques. 
    • two 'sit and eat' sessions at approximately noon and 3pm
    • approximately 30 minutes discussion on plant-based nutrition

    What to bring

    Just yourself and your water bottle. Bring an apron if you'd like. Tea and coffee will be provided in the staffroom for breaks.

    About plant-based cooking and eating

    A plant-based diet is a diet consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits, and with few or no animal products.
