    About your tutor

I’m Tonya Seiuli, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining this cookery class. I’ve spent many years in professional kitchens, running my own café, leading dynamic teams, and creating refined, high-end dishes. My journey through the culinary world has taught me not only the technical side of cooking, but also the joy of collaboration and creativity in the kitchen.

After years of mentoring and training staff on the job, I found a new passion in education and made the shift into teaching. I’ve since worked as a culinary lecturer, where I’ve had the privilege of guiding aspiring chefs through both the fundamentals and finer points of the craft. From hands-on technique sessions to classroom-based theory, I love helping students build their confidence, find their style, and grow into their own as culinary professionals.

I’m here for the same reason as you, to have fun, get inspired, and explore new ideas in the kitchen. I’m really looking forward to learning alongside you all and, of course, cooking up some delicious meals together.
